SCMP SAFETY ACHIEVEMENT

On January 8, 2007, SCMP achieved 365 days at work without a lost time injury. This milestone was the result of the hard work of all associates taking care to ensure that every one followed our safety procedures. A safety slogan contest was held in October and the winning slogan was submitted by James Dickens, Weld Technician. The slogan states:

• Safety is first priority at work and outside the workplace;
• Committed to ensuring that everyone leaves the way they came in;
• Maintaining a safe work environment through continual improvement
• People understanding that safety is everyone's responsibility.

A cookout will be held March 2nd to celebrate this achievement.
