ISO Certification Achievement

SC Metal Products is pleased to announce that on June 5th, 2007 our Quality Management System was assessed by a 3rd party registrar to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000. In addition to ISO 9001:2000, SC Metal Products also received a letter of conformance to ISO/TS 16949:2002. ISO/TS 16949:2002 is the latest Quality Management System Standard for automotive suppliers. The 4 ½ day audit resulted in only 1 minor non-conformance. This was an impressive feat considering this was SC Metal Products’ first registration audit that effectively covered all areas of the facility. SC Metal Products put out a great effort to receive this certification in such a short time. This is a great accomplishment for all of the associates there.
