SCMP Upgrades CMM!

SCMP recently installed a new CMM which will allow for more accurate inspection capability along with the ability to ensure rigorous inspection needs are met for our customers. The measuring system comprises of an IMS Impact 800 Co-ordinate Measuring Machine complete With 32 Bit architecture electronic control system, Virtual-DMIS measuring software, Renishaw TP20 Touch trigger probe along with accessories.

Measuring Capacity:

• X Bridge Axis 750mm (30”)
• Y Table Axis 800mm (32”)
• Z Vertical Axis 550mm (22”)

Measuring Accuracy in compliance to International specifications.

• Volumetric Accuracy M =30 + L/300(microns)
• B89 = 0.00027” (16” Ball Bar)
